As I look back on this year, I’m reminded of how quickly life can change. I didn’t anticipate serving in the Senate when I started my career, but since my appointment in March, I’ve been grateful for the chance to bring my skills and perspective to this work.
Stepping into this position has allowed me to serve our community in a new way, and I carry that privilege with humility and a sincere commitment to ensure your voice is heard in Springfield.
My background has always centered around service and practical problem-solving, and I’m grateful to use those skills now to advocate for families and communities across our district. Every conversation, phone call, and meeting has helped shape the work ahead, and I’m thankful for the chance to listen and learn from so many of you this year.
