Over the weekend, Senator Darby Hills was highlighted across Illinois discussing a legislative package aimed at strengthening protections for children and cracking down on trafficking, grooming, sexual exploitation, and predatory offenders.

The legislation (SB 284, SB 1572, SB 2381) seeks to close dangerous gaps in Illinois law, increase penalties for serious crimes involving minors, and ensure individuals who exploit children are held fully accountable.
