Safely Dispose of Unused Medications This Saturday

You are invited to a Prescription Drug Drop-Off event this Saturday, April 25, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Wauconda Township (505 W. Bonner Rd., Wauconda).

Keeping unused or expired medications out of our homes, and out of the wrong hands, is a simple step we can take together to protect our families and our community.

Take a few minutes to clean out your medicine cabinet and stop by. This is a convenient, drive-up event. Just pull up, hand off your medications, and we’ll take care of the rest. You don’t even need to leave your car.

Accepted Items:
• Prescription medications
• Ointments and patches
• Pet medications and vitamins

Please Note:
• Liquids are accepted if lids are tightly secured
• No needles, syringes, or illegal drugs

Why safely dispose of unused medications?
• Protect the environment
• Prevent accidental poisoning
• Help stop misuse and abuse
